The new manmade park, Little Island, in the Hudson River near where we live is immensely popular. There are benches and now that masks are off in the open we can use them. There are food vendors and live performances. Unfortunately they all sold out at the moment. More to come…

What a great concept, and so well executed. I especially like the cathedral-like feeling of the photos showing only the suppport piers.
I love the tulip like shapes. Read about the architecture here https://littleisland.org/
A fine photo tour with some unusual perspectives
Glad you enjoyed it Derrick.
Verry special these constructions.
I agree. I like the design.
Beautiful
Thanks Carl. Hope all is well with you.
That looks really cool, combining some of my favorite things: walkways, parks, islands, and piers.
That’s it in a nutshell 🙂
So glad to see and hear about this! Do you buy tkts for other things besides performances?
Thanks!

Check out their website for events. I included a link in this post. To visit you don’t need a ticket any more.
What an interesting structure supporting the island, Sherry.
I’ve never seen (or imagined) anything like those concrete support ‘cups’. Thanks for sharing 🙂
It is unique. Already it is a huge success.:-)
Another new attraction in NY! Thanks for sharing the news.
Your welcome. It is worth a visit.
