On Saturday we drove out to Breezy Point in Queens, NY. On the way back we stopped at Fort Tilden in Queens and Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. I did a fair amount of work post processing in these landscapes to bring out the composition, colors, and feeling.

Hi Sherry! Breezy Point is in Queens. I know because Rosemary and the Smythes lived out near there in Belle Harbor. Also, Fort Tilden is also in Queens. Floyd Bennett Field is in Brooklyn. Your pictures were lovely. Glad you seem to be enjoying the car. Hope all is well. Gerry’s Pete and his wife, Jacquie, had a baby girl on the 26th – actually Pete had to deliver her when she went so fast and the ambulance didn’t arrive in time – quite a weekend at the Hinces!! Love to Marc, and you, Cathy

Thanks Cathy. That was an oops with metadata in Lightroom. I corrected them to Queens.
Amazing about the baby. Glad all went well.

Great images, I love the one with the dead tree and pile of timber 🙂

Thank you. The timbers are concrete. Hard to make out unless you enlarge it.
