I processed the Allium two ways to show that color creates a mood. I know the Ailanthus is considered to be a weed tree, but I love it. It shades us from the sun in our 3rd floor apartment.

Wonderful to see all the flora photos here, Sherry. And I’m with you, if you get something wonderful from a plant, even if it is a weed, it is a gift. Cheers, my friend.

Thanks Jet. Somedays it’s just my houseplants. Soon hope to get out more once things loosen up.

These are beautiful. That first photograph is incredible with the focus on the flower, it’s very striking. Likewise with the black/white version that makes the flower really ‘pop’. You’re very talented, you’ve got a great eye for beautiful shots.

I love seeing several or a bunch of the Allium in one place. I was never aware of them until this year. Are they all of a sudden making a showing?

I’ve noticed more than usual around the neighborhood. 🎆

I like the two examples. It’s amazing how light and color affect our perception.

True. I tend to view black and white images as being somber. Color can be either joyful or subdued. It’s hard to make a black and white feel joyful.
