Insects CP July

Went to Central Park yesterday. It was hot so I moved slowly. I dusted the small bee-like fly (only 5 mm) with stars, the rest are as photographed.

The bee fly is intriguing like a cartoon creature. I can imagine it on a Honey Puffs cereal packet!

Very true. Keep looking and something always shows up.

I so enjoyed this micro visit to Central Park, Sherry. All the photos are really engaging and filled with beauty, but my two favorites are the spider in his web and the fly on the leaf.
