There are many lovely old buildings along Riverside Drive in Manhattan. Riverside Drive was designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted as part of his concept for Riverside Park from 72nd to 125th Streets. This set is from 76-78th Street.

    I enjoyed examining the ornate work on these doorways, Sherry, and knowing the background of Olmstead on Riverside Drive. Liked seeing your cameo, too.

    Your photos are so magnificent that I wish I could visit Riverside Drive. I live across the country and I am unlikely to get to New York very soon. But when I do, I would love to see these doors in person.
