This puts our “dusting” of snow yesterday evening to shame; so much howling and warning and foreboding by the forecasters, we were met with a few flakes over a few “rush-hour” moments – the Hudson snowfall would have stopped us dead in our tracks!

Unfortunately the snow did not last long. Not much of a winter this year.

It looks moody. Interesting that over on this side of the Hudson we got mostly freezing rain and some hail.

I really enjoyed every photo, Sherry. You really captured the frigid and moody scenes, and I liked the spots of color artfully included in the numerous and elegant light fixtures. Stay warm my friend!

Lovely shots. Well worth the effort; and that rarity – a post that warrants the snowflake effect 🙂

Love the snow – and river photos. Where the sky and clouds are dark, did you make them all much more so, than they actually were? Very somber/portentious mood!
