In David Croker’s lovely origianl didnt need much. I changed the time of day and mood first by casting a golden glow and then adding a sky with a soft lightning bolt which I refected in the water.

Love your choice of colours.
Marie
Nice of you to say so. I imagined the scene’s colors before I create it.
You got rid of the power poles, well done! I like the feel you have created.
You noticed 🙂 It took a bit of work, especially behind the trees. Glad you like it 🙂
oh wow, I missed what you did with this one. It’s gorgeous!
Thank you. 🙂
Wow, what a transformation!
Layering and blending modes in Photoshop can give great results.
So cool – this is a great challenge!
I enjoy it a lot. Thanks. See what others do with it on July 1.
Beautiful effects!
Thank you.
Amazing sky you’ve created . . . . I rarely ever play with photographs and didn’t think I was missing out until I saw this post. Looks like a painting .
PS Forgot to say the Stacy link doesn’t seem to work 🙁
Thanks Becky. That is the magic of Photoshop you can create create all sorts of “dark room” effects. Well worth learning.
