I created a foggy atmosphere and did some sketching and painting in Photoshop with my Wacom pen. One bird looked lonely so I added second making it into a composite image. I’ve no idea what the one on the right is holding.

I would like see more shadows in the background,eg under the log
Here the foggy background provides a good background to the sharpness of he Solitary Sandpiper. Its a beautiful composition
I like the quality of the birds going about their business for the day!
The birds blend into this rather bleak, marshy landscape but they make it come to life.
