Sunrise at Haleakala

I tried for over half a year to book a parking spot for dawn on Haleakala in Maui. The only way we were able to do it was to book with a tour group. I chose Haleakala Sunrise Tours | Visit the Crater, Kula, Makawao, Paia, Haiku (haleakalaecotours.com). Their guide was full of information and told us many stories. I thoroughly enjoyed it because of him.

Breathtaking photos, Sherry, of beautiful Haleakala. Such a beautiful mountaintop and sunrise is awesome. I’m thinking they weren’t on 12.18.22, though, because it’s only 12.16.22 today. I think the Silversword is such a beautiful specimen, am glad you captured that as well. I’ve never seen it anywhere else than on this mountaintop…so rare. Mahalo.
