I went out to photograph the sunrise alone. After breakfast our group from the Littoral Society (littoralsociety.org) went for a boat ride with a very knowledgeable young local. We had lunch in town. After lunch we went to Chincoteague NWR.

What a wonderful haul you got from this trip. The ghost crab and rat snake are particularly good spots – and we have spoken about the foals 🙂

What a collection of images! I’d love to live in that library. When I first saw it, I was reminded of a lighthouse; there are some on our coast that are remarkably similar. I loved the image of the snake, and was surprised by the Whimbrel. I’m not sure I’ve heard of those. The ghost crab’s amazing!

Thanks. I have only seen a couple of Whimbrels in my life. They are rare. I saw so many wonderful things on that trip.
