My first thought was of our Texas Doodlebugs! What an interesting history. I especially enjoyed the photo of the new growth coming up inside the hollowed trunk.
When I saw the post title I expected street art and graffiti 🙂 Reading the info it sounds like a very interesting place, it certainly looks very green and leafy and I love the little hummingbird.

I like that hollow log ‘”planter” too there is a row of them. I saw a bug like the Doodlebug in Virginia. Weird insect.

It is an immensely popular spot for Spring Warblers and nesting Blue-Winged Warblers. Great for hiking too.
