Great shots. You quite beautifully captured the splendor of Central Park!!
Thanks Larry. You were there. 🙂
Such a beautiful post, Sherry. Love those fall leaves!
Thank you so much.
I like your maple tree pictures, it brings me closer to Canada.
Maples must be a nice memory. I heard there is a maple syrup shortage. Climate change is to blame. Pity. I love maple syrup.
Certainly the 2021 harvest was less abundant, the weather is to blame, but there are large stocks to supply the market, there is no shortage yet.
I expect prices of maple syrup to go up though.
Beautiful. And no sign of winter yet…
We had a late Fall in the northeast.
Wow, Sherry. You live in such a beautiful area.
There are ugly bits too 😉
lol…
Fall colors are so beautifully captured! Thanks for sharing, Sherry.
Thanks Amy 🙂
Sherry, your artistry here is delightful. Capturing the maples in all their colors and ways, the waterfall, the old stone arch, rushing water — everything a lovely statement of the many beauties of Central Park. There was something spiritually attractive to me in the fifth photo of the three swags of maple leaves and the background water. And now I’m off to see Parts 1 and 2.
😁😊 Blushing again.
Lovely seasonal colours, I love the Glen Span arch image
Thanks Sue.
You’re welcome!
You stil have wonderful autumn colors, here they are completely gone 🙁
We had a late Fall. These shots were taken November 4th.
This certainly isn’t the mental image of Central Park that I’ve carried for years!
I hope I show some of the best of it 🙂
You certainly do!
Lovely photos and some gorgeous colours, it’s hard to believe that such beauty is surrounded by a built-up high rise area. Nos. 1 and 8 are my favourites 🙂
There is lots to enjoy in our urban parks, even the little ones. Have a lovely weekend, Eunice.
All lovely, especially the sinuous second maple shot
Bak lit Autumn leaves are nice. Thaks. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
You, too
sherry – you showed the Central Park jewels of colors 🙂
Thanks. We had a late Autumn.
We did here in Richmond also – was driving Saturday and Eakins’s it felt like early November in some tree areas
