To add to the vacation at Grand Manan and to break up the long drive back to New York City I booked a night at the Maple Hill Farm Inn in Hallowell, Maine. Hallowell is a charming little old town on the banks of the Kennebec River. The Inn was gorgeous and the hospitality tops. I wish I could have stayed longer. At dawn we walked to Jimmie Pond nearby and I was able to photograph the early morning mist on the lake. A tearful rainy goodbye is the last shot.
The images of the lake are awesome. The light fog adds super special interest to the scene. Well done, Sherry!

It was hard to leave. I also loved Grand Manan. A great way to spend my small severance pay. Gave me something good to remember.
