I guess this dates back quite a few years. The early subway structures are always interesting. I like the door, but I’m guessing there’s not much of interest behind it.
I prefer to use my imagination and imagine a secret passage to somewhere important. There is an unused branch that T Roosevelt used to get into a hotel unseen.
I like your version better than an electrical panel.
Interesting to see that door in that location!
To continue – it arouses curiosity as to what lies behind the door!
