I had lunch at a very old iconic restaurant, the Russian Tea Room (the link has a video of it plus more about it). They have a painting of Felix the Cat. Felix is our last name. It was founded in 1928 by members of the Russian Ballet.

I take it the second picture shows Le Coq d’Or, the Golden Cockerel, which was Rimsky-Korsakov’s last completed opera.
It could be. It was made into a ballet 🙂
My beloved NYC aunt took me there during one of my visits. My, I felt sophisticated. After that, we went shopping at the 5th Avenue Lord & Taylors, and I still have the classic suit I bought there. Good memories.
What a lovely memory.
A lovely link for you both
🙂 Thanks.
What a gorgeous looking place, and I love the picture of Felix 🙂
It is fun for a once in a rare occasion.
