It took a short time to tear down the wall but truly integrating East Berliners will take decades longer. There is a disparity in wages and employment between East and West Berliners.

We were there years ago when we stood in front of the Berlin Wall . It looks different now.
I photographed it from two sides. Maybe that is why you think it looks different?
Yes were there in 1986 and crossed over through Checkpoint Charlie.
