We went to see the Civil War re-enactment. It was very small, but fun. I love the history and talking with the interpreters. The buildings are getting very run down. They need more money for upkeep.
We went off for a walk and saw no one. It was wonderful to explore the buildings. It is a very pretty setting and the weather was lovely that day.

Have to go. Tried to find it back in 2000 or so, unsuccessfully.

Google Historic Richmondtown. There is a bus that goes right there from the Ferry. l’ll go with you anytime you like.

Love the photos. I went to one re-enactment and it was fun. The south was recruiting men from the audience since they were clearly outnumbered.

I signed up with a feather pen. The kids were taught to march with wooden guns. 😀
