If any of you are wondering why I haven’t been posting much lately, I am not able to get out much to do photography because of my worsening long term Lyme. Thanks to our wonderful health care in the USA, I can’t get the care I need unless I pay full price of ~$5,000 a week for the IVIG treatment I need. It is no longer covered by Medicare plus a supplemental. If all goes well, I anticipate being able to afford treatments sometime in the future. Until then I will rest and do what I can.
Meanwhile, it would be nice if we had snow in New York City. We might have some this weekend.

Are you feeling any better? Thinking of you. I’m still treating Lyme too. 💗
I am so sorry to hear about your health, Sherry. I hope things will change soon to help your recovery. My thoughts are with you, wishing you a recovery and strengths. Hugs, Indah
Thank you dear Indah. This year may lead to relief.
I hope things turn up for you soon, Sherry.
Thanks Jess.
Sorry to read of your challenges with Lyme, Sherry. My spouse pays out of pocket for herbal treatments, which seem to help reduce the severity, but they don’t cost quite as much as yours do. That must be such a burden to bear.
Thanks. The few times I tried some herbals for a while I felt no improvement. Perhaps I didn’t use the right ones. So I’m not a believer. What I want is IVIG, an intravenous immune booster
Hope you’ll feel better soon and can get some proper treatment!
Thank you. I am in the process of seeking help.
Sending hugs, and lots of hope that your forthcoming solution is successful and long term xx
Thank you Becky.
I am so sorry to hear of your ongoing illness Sherry. I hope you are able to get some medical assistance inexpensively. Thinking of you – Suzanne
I am taking prescribed antibiotics. That does not work. I know form past experience what works at this stage.
Oh dear. Is it the treatment you can’t afford? Can you get any relief with anti microbial herbs and diet modifications? I guess they cost money too. Rest, rest, rest, clean water and calming music and meditation might help alleviate the symptoms a bit. Thinking of you – Suzanne
Oh, that truly is not great about the Lyme! Do you think “megadosing on Vitamin C” would help, There are a few Dr. Googles out there who state, that primates are the only animals who don’t make their own Vitamin C. I, hope, you are able to get ahead of this, as you have a unique viewpoint in your images
I haven’t heard that large doses of Vitamin C can help Lyme. I’ve been living with this for decades and have tried many things. When I have the funds to i will resume treatments. Thanks ofr the compliment.
Hey, I am sorry to hear this. I had not heard of Lyme’s disease until I saw your post. How are things at your end? Medical seems really expensive in the US, and this is bad
Not good. It is expensive when certain treatments aren’t covered by insurance.
That is shitty indeed/ Is there a non medical cure available?
I tried herbals. Did not work.
I’m so sorry you are feeling unwell and not able to get care. Take care of yourself and hope you feel better soon!
Thanks It will improve eventually.
Hoping you’ll feel better soon!
Thank you.
Sorry to hear this, Sherry. I hope you will soon be able to get the medical care that you need.
I will soon i hope.
Oh, sorry to hear this, Sherry…. I hope rest will help you a bit
Thanks
My God, what am I learning?
The price of the treatment is … ciomment to say … excessive in my eyes.
I hope with all my heart that you will succeed (in one way or another) to succeed in getting treatment so that you can heal at best.
I hope you’re going to have the snow you’re hoping for
My thoughts are with you
There are many who can’t afford medical care in the US. Some are cancer patients, who can’t afford treatment. I feel sorry for the poor cancer patients because not affording treatment means death.
I know that and I think it’s awful, it’s unacceptable
Did not Obama make a reform that just made poor people happy about care?
Yes, some poor can now get minimal health care. No change to prices of certain drugs. Costs went up.
It’s not easy coping with chronic conditions, and even more difficult when financial considerations are added to the stresses. My best to you, and every good wish for improvement.
Thank you.
I’m sorry to hear this Sherry. I hope you feel better very soon!
Thanks
I am sorry you are not well. These treatments should not cost so much. It is the greedy pharmaceutical industry and poor health plans. I hope you feel better again
Thanks. Hopefully soon..
I’m so sorry that you are still suffering. Rest and think positive thoughts. Check this out: https://retrainingthebrain.com/. It’s helped me overcome Chronic Fatigue symptoms and it’s helped my massage therapist overcome Lime. At $250. it’s worth the try. She also has a money back guarantee if you’re not feeling better after 6 months on her program. If you have any questions, contact me.
Thank you. I looked at the site and coaching support is expensive, it could add up to ~$500. I need to interact with a person because I don’t do well with training videos or books. I will keep it in mind..
Ohh that’s terrible. Medical in the States is just so bad, the expenses are sky high! You take care & have proper rest.
Sorry to hear about the Lyme and lack of coverage Sherry 🙁 I hope you feel better soon. Seems to me the national emergency would be healthcare for all in the USA rather than a vanity project (wall).
Thanks. You are too right.
I’m very sorry to read about your long term Lyme’s disease, Sherry. Shame on your poor health system which obviously is not getting any better now. Have a good rest and take good care. <3
I’m thinking about you 💖. Take good rest 💖.
Thanks
I’m sorry to hear this and hope that you can get both the rest and the care that you need.
Thanks
