A church has been at the site of Trinity Church at Wall Street in Manhattan since 1697. Alexander Hamilton is burried there.

Glad you enjoyed the pics. I’m still getting treated for Lyme so I don’t out out often. It was nice to sit in the little churchyard and enjoy nature. Next year should be better.

Such a beautiful church and cemetery, and so very old. I went to the link and there are a lot of notable people here, it must be fascinating to walk through. Your photos are lovely, Sherry, especially with the autumnal emphasis. I enjoyed the series, thank you.

Love it when you come across buildings that date back to the early days of a city . . . what once would have been enormous buildings now seem tiny but oh so much more beautiful, especially when seen through the eyes of your camera 🙂

They rebuilt the church a few times. Still it has interesting history and is a lovely place. thanks for your compliment.
