We all went on a lovely nature walk by the Elbe River in Dessau on October 17th 2021. I could have spent way longer there.
On the way to the Elbe River I photographed ruin and a warehouse on fire.

The two photos of the Elbe just after the warehouse fire are my favorites. They have quite a painterly feel to them: especially the first. It was fun to see the mistletoe, too. We used to see tiny bundles of it in the grocery stores before the holiday season, but I only see it in trees, now.
Thanks. I thought those river landscapes remined me of a painting too. I remember when kissing under the mistletoe was a custom. I haven’t seen any for sale either.
Oh, lovely, Sherry…thanks for the Virtual stroll! Love the autumn colours and the ruin
Glad you liked it Sue. Have a wonderful day.
Pleasure! Have a great day yourself
