Aloha to Maui. On our last and 15th day we had time before our flight back to New York City to drive to Ahihi Kina’u Natural Area Reserve Information & More (hawaii-guide.com). There are extensive old lava fields there. Warning: American Airlines does not serve food. Hawaiian Airlines does. We made sandwiches to eat.
Oh did I ever enjoy this aloha series, Sherry. Great to see the black lava beach, long ocean vistas, treasures found and your serene smile that only comes from multiple days in Hawaii. Great to see the island from the plane too. Lovely photos and thanks so much for all these posts, for taking us to Maui with you.
