     There’s a great hotel, The Refuge Inn, that I stayed at. That way you can be there at dawn to catch the early birds.

   Thanks Sherry for sharing all this beauty. The heron is very recongnisable however totaly different from the one we know here.

   What a great series of photos. I was interested to see the thistle; we have that one, as well.I was surprised to see your blue-eyed grass still blooming, as ours in long gone. I’ve seen only one pair of Ruddy Turnstones in my life; I know they’re around, but I just don’t see them. You captured them well.
