That photo showing the spread of petals on the ground is fabulous. I finally figured out that Bayard Cutting was a person, and that the arboretum was established by his family. I grew up with a grandmother who adored her cutting garden, and I couldn’t quite figure out what the nature of a ‘cutting arboretum’ would be. Grandma’s flowers came back fairly quickly after she cut a bouquet. Trees would take much longer. Silly me!
Love the shot with all the pink blossoms on the ground!

The website talks about the family. https://bayardcuttingarboretum.com/about/bayard-cutting-family/ One of these days I want to visit the home. One must book in advance. Cheers 🙂
