Central Park Peak Migration

Tuesday was a tremendous day for Fall warblers, thrushes and other migrants. I went with the Linnaean NY group then later left them and sat by some jewelweed and watched a hummer feed. The first three have replaced backgrounds.

I’m excited as can be to finally have some hummingbirds at my feeders. I’ve never managed a good photo of one — yours are just splendid!

Thanks. My Nikon 750 with a Sigma 150-600 mm lens did it. It took a lot of misses and only a tiny % came out in focus.

Such a good set. Those replaced backgrounds have perfect colours

Thanks Derrick. I will always say if I have altered a background because it isn’t the original photo any more. Some people swap out skies and things claiming it is a photograph and that is dishonest.
