    My, goodness. They certainly have some toothy fish there. We have a couple of common species that are outfitted with teeth capable of taking on barnacles, but this group clearly points to a different kind of environment. I laughed right out loud at the name “Atlantic Spiny Lumpsucker.” That sounds like the sort of name that would get tossed around the playground as an insult.

      I laughed too. Isn’t that just the silliest name! Like, “You Yellow-bellied Sapsucker you.”

      I find them fascinating. Reminds me of the American Natural History Museum fish display in NYC.

    I guess Iceland is a pretty unique place and all of its fish are Unique!?? Hi I haven’t gotten probably more than 10 storm warning since I went to bed last night!

      Than is what the sign there said :-). I got the warnings too.
      I am off to see if there are any pelagic birds blown up the Hudson by the storm.
