Central Park

I saw more warblers than I photographed. It was a fair day for migrating birds in Central Park. The last 3 photos of the Catbird tells a story, “My Ant!” Maybe it didn’t taste good.

Beautiful photos. I’m thinking the catbird is like, “This isn’t apple suet.”

Sounds like it was just a lovely day for a walk in Central Park, Sherry. Lucky you! Happy to see that you captured the Ovenbird. I know they were here in Florida again this year, but I missed seeing them.

Warblers in Central Park! They are so small, but you captured beautifully. The Grey Catbird is lovely.

Nice shot of the oven’s crown, hard to get that at times.

Thank you. The birds in Central Park are often not people shy. One of the reasons it is world renowned for birding.

Wonderful to see your lovely finds in Central Park, Sherry. We don’t have ovenbirds out on the west coast, so that was a great treat. And the catbird photos, each one, were exquisite. Make for a nice series, too.
