Gorgeous colours and lovely photos 🙂 I love rhododendrons and azaleas and think they bring lovely colour to our gardens, parks and public spaces but sadly other people think the opposite and get rid of them because they aren’t native to the UK and can be invasive.

There’s a lovely Japanese garden and lake set in what was once a private estate near here, it was greatly enhanced by the rhodies and looked beautiful but the trust which now manages it decided to cut them all down a while ago, so the place has lost all its colour and looks nowhere near as lovely as it once did 😦

Glad you enjoyed the pics. What a shame the rhododendrons were all cut down in that estate. What were they thinking? Makes no sense.

These are nice. Freakin’deer ate most of mine because I did not leave a fence around them over winter.

Thanks you so much Jet. The colors of the flowers were exhilarating. They did a lovely job landscaping.

They’re so pretty, and quite a reminder of the difference latitude can make. Ours have bloomed, and now are mostly gone.
