Yesterday Marc, my friend Paula and I went to Brighton Beach and ate lunch at one of the the Russian Restaurants on the boardwalk. I love the OT decorations. The food was good. After that we drove to Jamaica Bay in Brooklyn, part of Gateway NRA. It was late afternoon and very windy and atmospheric. A storm was brewing. No snow geese for me yet. I’ll try another time.

I enjoyed the Russian restaurant and the above comment about the Russians and their vodka and Snapple mixer. And your photos of Jamaica Bay are espec. lovely. That last photo, with the moody storm coming was fantastic, espec. since I didn’t have to worry about the storm.

The snow geese are there. I saw a few w2ay off. They were staying low out of the wind. I plan to go again soon.

I know. When we got home my phone said that there was a tornado warning and that I should get in the cellar. I live in Manhattan so I ignored the warning.

It was just a beach side place. Ther were a bunch of guys eating lunch with a bottle of vodka and Snapple as a mixer (BYO) – very Russian.

I especially like the last photo. It has the feel of an English landscape artist. When I heard about the tornado warning for the Bronx yesterday, I wondered where you were roaming. Strange weather!

Thank you. There was a tornado warning saying that I should get in the cellar. I live in Manhattan so I ignored the warning. Globally it is very stormy.
