Mt Top Arboretum

Last weeks trip to the Catskills included Mountaintop Top Arboretum (north of Tanersville) and a short stop at the end of the day at Colgate Lake.

Your photos are so lovely – the range of colors. so crisp and indicative of the seasonal change upon us. Just beautiful

Thanks a lot, Sherry. You are the real artist. I am just an old man, with an old camera walking his young dog and taking snapshots. But I was pleased to read your comment. Happy days. Reinhold

I especially enjoyed the rock wall, and I’d have to say my favorite of the set is the last photo. Perhaps it’s the rock there, as well, although I do like the sense of progression from full-on autumn to the season’s ending.

My mate Marc loves old rock walls too. I see what you mean by a seasonal progression. It wasn’t intentional. The color of the last one is end of day. I worked with the colors a little to enhance what I felt. Thanks very much for you comments.

Fabulous shots, I love the colours of autumn. It would be hard to pick a personal favourite out of these but I think there’s two, the second shot and the first one with the lake 🙂

Thanks Theo. Your link doesn’t work for some reason. I bet I will see them in the reader.
