I processed the Allium two ways to show that color creates a mood. I know the Ailanthus is considered to be a weed tree, but I love it. It shades us from the sun in our 3rd floor apartment.

These are beautiful. That first photograph is incredible with the focus on the flower, it’s very striking. Likewise with the black/white version that makes the flower really ‘pop’. You’re very talented, you’ve got a great eye for beautiful shots.

True. I tend to view black and white images as being somber. Color can be either joyful or subdued. It’s hard to make a black and white feel joyful.
