Local Nature

Over the last several days we went out for short walks to stretch our legs while maintaining “social distance”. Here is a selection of plants. The multi-color schist used in the wall along the Hudson River Park has pink feldspar and green feldspar coloring the layers. I used my Samsung Note 10+ to photograph these.

Beautiful photos, it’s so important to get some fresh air and appreciate nature, now more than ever (as long as you do it safely – and it’s very safe when viewing your local park from my laptop screen 😉).

I do need to get out. We live in two rooms. I pick early hours. Less people out and it’s easy to keep my distance. 😘

Thanks Derrick. The tall buildings were hidden in the clouds in the lamp picture.
