High Line in November

It was deserted on the High Line today. Everyone was home having Thanksgiving dinner or out shopping and there were almost no tourists. The strong windy made it hard for me to get in a few decent macro shots.

    My daughter who lives in Brooklyn has taken us there a couple of times – a real treat. How interesting to see it so empty, in contrast. Your macro shots are wonderful – you’ve captured delightful views that are too frequently missed by many!

      Thank you so much. I live nearby so I know when to go when it is empty. I like to avoid the crowds.

      Thanks Jet. I like the berries too. It’s a happy accident that the bokeh circles match the berries.

    Lovely macros Sherry. There are lots of interesting shots to be captured but when compared to summer, it has a very different look and feel to it at this time of year.

      Thanks Norm. I agree. I love the different darker mood of Winter. I would not like to live in a place with no seasons.
