I would love to stay for a night or two at the Collective at Governors Island in their luxury tent at Governors Island someday.
Marc and I rode around in a rented surrey while attanding the #OPTIC2019 day at Governors Island. It was a great way to carry my photography gear.

30 yeras living in the New York City Metro area and I’ve never visited Governors Island. But I’m fixing some of that. This summer, I am dragging my wife out of Princeton to finally see all the New York City sites (many of which I have already visited several times)t. Both kids will be in college starting this fall, so I know we have no more excuses.

Tell me more about the where/what/when of Staten Island. I just know it as “the stretch of road I drive throihg on my wya to Queens and Brooklyn”. 😃

A bit pricey perhaps, but no worse than NYC hotels. The menu for dinner looks good too.
