I will go to New York City in the end of february, and I would like to see Snowy owl, have you some advices for me ? I have just one free day and I know Jones Beach is a good place for it, but I haven’t car to go over there.
The Linnaean Society of NY has many trips in the NYC area. There is one one on SATURDAY, JANUARY 19 to Jones Beach https://linnaeannewyork.org/programs-trips/lsny-field-trips.html (I created the web site).
NYC Audubon has trips too http://www.nycaudubon.org/calendar
I do not have access to a car so these trips are the only way I got to go. If you call some of the leaders or registrars they may be able to help. Also drop by Central Park and ask birders you see there. Start in the Rambles,
