Can you tell which one was shaded with a parasol — was it the 1st or 2nd  photograph?

    The second was my guess before I clicked open the comments section. I wasn’t completely sure though, because I think I miss these sort of details sometimes.

      You are right. You are the only one to answer. The subtle clue is that there is less contrast and the light on the flower is a little softer. I darkened the background in Lightroom in #2 to match #1. When using a parasol the back lighting can get overblown. It helps to soften the light on a flower on a very bright day.
