The Met Cloisters is at the northern end of Manhattan in Fort Tryon Park at 99 Margaret Corbin Drive and is run by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

    Love any outside hall (is there a specific word for it?) with arches! Beautiful rustic doors. Missed you a couple of weeks. Hope you’re doing well?

      Yes, a covered walk in a convent, monastery, college, or cathedral, typically with a wall on one side and a colonnade open to a quadrangle on the other. I am having some health issues involving nerves and joints which prevent me from enjoying getting around. The museum was a place I could borrow a wheel chair. Right now it is so hot in NYC I don’t want to go out. Thanks for asking.

    Gorgeous courtyard and doors. I’ve never heard of an Urban Park Ranger. That must have been a fun and interesting job.

      Federal Park Rangers have more to do. Urban ones mostly do tours and PR. The uniform is similar.
