Thanks Jet. It is really frigid. Marc enticed the dove to come onto windowsill inside. then a rock pigeon saw and stated to follow. I don’t want pigeons in the house so I put a stop to it.

We’ve heard about the severe snow and storms even DownUnder in Australia. Hope you all have good heating and there are shelters for the homeless (and birds).
I noted on the international news & weather that even Florida got some snow.
Here, I have put out large dishes of water for the sparrows doves and finches in preparation for our extremely hot day of 42C (about 108F), but a cool change is expected overnight and the temp will drop to the low 20s C in Melbourne, Aust.

We didn’t get the amount of snow you did – only about 5″, but we are suffering through frigid temps right now. It is 8 degrees at the moment, with wind chills down in the minus numbers. Love to Marc – and you! Cathy

It’s defiantly colder that usual. The birds defiantly know where and how to get food. They tap on the window for Marc. I can walk right up to them when the window is shut.
