Just superb! The lighting is excellent – I have tried several times years ago to take night time shots, but couldn’t quite manege it. These are really good and the subject interesting too 🙂

Thank you. The new DSLR cameras plus shooting in RAW make it possible. You should give night photos another go. There’s lots of info out there about night shooting. I raised the iso, slowed the speed way down and opened it wide and played around until it worked. Do you see stars where you are?

When I tried it I had a film slr – before photoshop magic. I use a Nikon dslr and photoshop & lightroom now so no doubt I would get better results. Because I live near the moors I get a good view of the stars. My grandson will be 8 next month and he is getting a telescope so I said I will take him on the moors to see the stars and I may bring a tripod and dslr too 🙂 But, yes I am so wrapped up in landscapes I rarely shoot anything else. Now I have been made redundant I will have more time on my hands and may try my hand at other subjects 🙂

Yes, you really need to be in the countryside for the best views of the night sky…bt I am sure a short ried out of the city will be fine :

Great stroll pictures. I love the light and the different structures. A bit strange with that man coming up to you.

Thank you for the compliment. Nice light, a Nikon DSLR, post processing in Lightroom and sometimes in Photoshop makes them come out they way I want to see them.

Very beautiful captures! Love the lighting, which enhances all the beautiful plant structures. The walk can be a completely different experience at night. Maybe even see some night wildlife… and I’m not talking about people bar-hopping. 😉
