London Parks

Clissold Park, St James Park, Camley Street Nature Park, and the WWT London Wetland Center are a few of the parks we saw in London this December 2015 and January 2016. My favorite was WWT London Wetland Center. The light was perfect that day and it is a gorgeous place.

WWT London Wetland Center is one of the few areas in London that shows a hint of what the old English countryside used to be like. So much natural habitat is is gone. When farming practices changed lots of wildlife habitat was lost. There are few places left for wildlife to exist in its ancient diversity.

This is the last of my London series of posts; though I do have some London doors coming in future weeks for Norm’s Thursday Doors.

I have really enjoyed all your London posts, Sherry. Particularly as I am there/here now. One or two places I’ve never heard of. Clissold Park however was one of our family outing parks growing up. Thanks for sharing.
