Great photos, Sherry Lynn. I’ve never heard of a hardhead duck, looks similar to our cinnamon teal, a beautiful bird.

I looked it up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardhead. The Hardhead is in the Pochard group https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_pochard and is similar to the American Redhead and Canvasback. Funny name, Hardhead, wonder where that came from. I love etymology.
