Spring Flowers

It is Spring at last in New York City. Not a very warm one yet. I photographed some spring flowers in Central Park while waiting looking for early migrating birds. I managed to get a decent photo of a fast moving little Golden-crowned Kinglet.

The Crocii flowers look like rich colourful lollies. Love the close up of the petals and colours, they could be taken anywhere in the world. I like the this aspect.
The little bird, well its a good shot, I would like to see some of the bird shots with more drama of contrast.
I know they are winter colours, the greys. I think you could be a little bolder in your contrasts of white, grey and black, or even some un natural colour, to make them really different.
    Just a thought.

Capturing a kinglet is very hard, they don’t sit still for a second. We are having a late Spring. The kinglet’s colors match the colors around it. I was happy too see the little fellow. It is an early Spring migrant.

Stunning crocus and I especially liked the golden crowned kinglet, not an easy bird to catch a photo of. 😀
