What is it? I liked the shapes. I created outlines and reproduced them in the background. Created in Photoshop. NIKON D750, f-stop f/10, exposure time 1/60 sec. ISO 125, focal length 105mm, and max aperture 3.6

Version 2, based on suggestion from a friend. I think they look like they are on a platter.

me too, I prefer the first one
a slightly darker background for more muted contrast with the white in the seed pods or darker seed pods
the pods seem very fluffy

I prefer the first picture to the second picture. The muted brown background offsets the outlines of the seeds.

These seed pods are a lovely collage. I love the subtlety of the colors against a very muted background. I would like to see what happened to the seed pods if thd background was a plain vivid color
